Chromebooks? Fast!? Jk

Me.

The ad says chromebooks are fast, but it also says Intel Celron. Those two things do not really work together

Are you asking a question or stating an opinion? If the latter, why do you think this?

There pretty fast for most users. Most users don't need a lot of cpu speed, and notice the slimmed down os, and super fast bootup much more.

Well technically it's not a laptop either. And for the limited things a chromebook needs to do, a Celeron will work just fine. You don't exactly buy a Chromebook for the computing power or gaming performance. You get it for basic things like web browsing and word processing through google drive. Or in the case of a chromebox like this, maybe a media streaming device or emulation box. You don't really need anything more powerful than a Celeron. And if it had more than that it would be more expensive.

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
