Worst article for building a pc ever

theo.r

It's not really bad. The main article is explaining what parts you need for a PC, shows a couple of configurations at different price points, and recommends you search for build guides on youtube. There's nothing that I have found yet that is out right wrong. Maybe the configs they have given can be update/improved on but that's about it.

Ok 1 $250 on the motherboard

2 $90 on the cpu

3 NO GPU

4 who needs an aio  that is more expensive than the cpu

5 just get a case for a lot cheaper

This is a bit dissonant(?), as reading pure bs would be a waste of time. But how to know it's pure bs when haven't read it :)

It's dated - July 1st of 2020 so the hardware mentioned is dated anyway..

I edit my posts more often than not

Cable management is horrible for the case they used, RAM isn't installed properly, it's missing a screw on the CPU cooler ... and then there's the video and the journalist and editor's reaction to the critics.

Can you point out what's shit with the CNN article apart from the 1st build poor choice of parts?

In objectively, yes, and I could say.. Holy shit for these ridiculous builds.

But somehow, in their perspective, it's just some writer, that trying to get paid. Welp, afaik, so correct me if I wrong, in their job, at least they have to write. Sometimes even no matter how shitty the writing quality is. Just. Write and post. Clickbait titles, we came and even we stayed for a second, rumbling 'tf is this', the site would gain revenue still. Except if we're using ad-block, of course.

I've seen a lot worse articles than those somehow, like one of those in my country that reports about how a freaking artist can't differentiate a ripe or unripe banana. News website nowadays are just freaking, unbelievably, annoying to read. Ads everywhere. And what I mostly hate.

Like. Every single one of news site. Even the one I thought would be at least, credible one. Like, Wikia.

THEY FREAKING PLAY A 720p VIDEO AUTOMATICALLY. SUCKING MY PRECIOUS F***IN DATA.

And, yes. I don't have fiber/wifi/else like that. I use data tether every single time I online. So it's freaking annoying for me.

Spoiler

But, heck. Turns out the auto-play video problem solved since I'm actually using Vivaldi tho. Indeed their built-in blocker works way better than I expected.

Humor me, as you should do.
