Change your DNS server to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. Network speeds is not relevant to your problem.

i've no problem accessing LTT except on an actual downtime.

Now probably you have a connection problem.

Do you have problems with other website (especially north american)?

Try 1.1.1.1 vpn on your phone.

If it's good, use this method to use it on the pc:

https://www.techsaavn.com/download-1-1-1-1-for-pc/

This is happening to me now, was browsing and all of a sudden it no longer loads on my desktop

Still fine on my mobile

No cloudflare error no timed out

Update: my other desktop works fine, I believe it's to do with cache or cookies

@Kanna did you have the DM open as well? it happened while i was watching an embedded video

update 2: clearing cache makes everything work

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Next time it's not loading, can you try to access https://linustechtips.com/cdn-cgi/trace, to see whether it loads?

so it happened again, this time this page (linked below) triggered it

warning: it's like 300mb worth of loading

https://beta.linustechtips.com/topic/168-breaking-uploads-dont-open-if-on-non-unlimited-mobile/

I could not access the page in other part of the forum, even if my internet speed is fine and recovered

was 30mbps pinned until i closed that page's tab, then it came down, but LTT beta or official both wouldnt load even when the bandwidth isnt pinned, until i cleared cache

this corresponded to me trying to load a video that was embedded in the forum (non-youtube, but direct upload), and this happened while i was watching the video halfway

i suspect cached stuff is causing this

I'm pretty sure what's happening there is that the unreasonably large number of requests for images that are triggered by viewing that topic have saturated your browser's per-origin (ie. LTT specific) request limit, or an equivalent limit at the point where HTTP/2 is terminated. The solution there is only to not have such a ridiculous number of images in one topic.

but closing the tab should've stopped those request, right?

yet other pages still wouldnt load even after my internet speed has settled down

It just spun forever? That's very weird, I didn't experience that when I tried it - closing the tab did solve it for me. It could be a difference between browsers, but I don't think it's a forum issue.

That would be helpful, no specific page in mind.

Chiming in to say I don't have that issue. Tried going on the beta LTT page Moonzy linked, everything loaded up just fine for me.

Have you tried with a different browser to see if it happened there, too? I'm on Vivaldi. Could be the way Chrome handle the high number of requests. But if that was the case, others would have this issue.
