Feel for you.  My Dad succumbed to Lung cancer a few years back.  Found out he had it just after my birthday end of  March.  June, he was gone.

Not just not easily replacable like modern cell phones, but actually not replacable without destroying the device.  There are a lot of not easily removable batteries these days and it’s a major contributor to the serious problems of ewaste because any LiPo battery that is more than X years old is effectively a tiny incindiary bomb, and some of them get that way in as little as 6 months if the battery is badly made.  Time continues to move forward.  All batteries will eventually become X years old.  One of the advantages of gas vehicles is you can take one that is 100 years old and if it has been taken care of it will run.  Batteries aren’t like that unless the battery can be replaced

So what you’re saying then is tueday night was horrifically awful?  That can happen.  I had an awful wednesday morning.  Apparently half the streets in my town just got blocked off as under construction and the mapping apps hadn’t caught up yet. Plus my new car which I haven’t had time to learn the ins and outs of yet was in some sort of weird menu somehow and decided that even though it was working correctly it shouldn’t actually move.

Also wasn’t very long lasting. A foam would be little bubbles and memory foam didn’t have that.  Newer stuff is apparently urethane with softeners in it to make it viscoelastic. Apparently Somewhat different.  I’m not sure how different.
