It's digital only and not as powerful as the Series X. So don't expect the same resolution, fps and graphic quality.

Only you can answer that question.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200

We do not know anything. That 120fps may just be in older games. Wait for actual testing and reviews.

If you buy windows store games or games that connect with the xbox client on pc then they do depending on the game share all achievements, progress,...

Fyi it's graphics power is lower than the current out xbox one x but it has a better cpu.

It most likely won't produce even 1440p with AAA titles. Only Indie and older titles may be able to run at 1080p 120fps, or 1440p 60fps. Microsoft's advertising is pretty misleading at times. Just because it says up to 120fps and up to 1440p doesn't mean that it'll do 120fps at 1440p.

You won't be able to go to your local store, pick up a disc and come back home to play right away.

Nor will you be able to trade/sell your games (Unless that changed, haven't kept up with console crap)

It is a 100% digital console. You will need to download your games. If your network connection is slow, it might not be worth it considering how huge games are these days. Imagine downloading 100GB at 10 Mbps. Would take 23 hours non stop at full throttle. Meaning you wouldn't be able to do much else with your network connection during that time.

he said specificaly 1440p 60. Probably is going to hit 1440p 60, or 1440p 30, but IDK. Though 1080p 120 being a possibilty on a console would be cool.

I could use some help with this!

I'd get it only if you are willing to get games digitally. People in this thread have already said it, but like the PS5 Digital, you have to take a gamble.

Everyone already knows unless there is some sort of crazy sale on the Playstation or Xbox Store, the games are more expensive online than at a game store.

If you intend on playing the console occasionally, then I would suggest getting the Xbox Series S. If you are going to play it very often, then I would suggest getting the Xbox Series X.

I say this because if you are going to play the console a lot (buy a lot of games), then that extra 'tax' on the Xbox Store will add up. Because the Xbox Series S if roughly $200 cheaper, you would want to keep the amount of 'tax' (basically just a way of saying its $10-$20 cheaper at a game store) you pay to a minimum. If you end up spending over $200 in tax, then it isn't worth getting the digital version of the console.

I'm sorry if this sounds complicated, but this is what I thought when seeing the consoles and their digital versions.

Also personally to me it would seem that the disc versions are more than a waste of time considering there are so many different types of game pass deals going on with Xbox game pass and EA access and whatever else is out there. It use to feel so stupid whenever I would spend $60 on a game maybe play one hour of it not to like it and try to return it just go get a huge 🖕 and maybe get a trade in offer for it at a whopping $20.

There are no returns in digital. $20 vs 0.

I really depend what games you play and when you buy.

Are you into launch titles not on game pass or EA access, then retailer is always $10 to $20 cheaper online.
You tend to wait a month or 2, then buy it pre owned from an early adopter.  You will finish it and sell it to someone else for a similar price. Whereas digital will be near or at launch price with no option to sell it.

If you like the subscription model, more power to you,  but digital will be more expensive within 6 games.

Xbox does offer a return policy that almost matches up exactly with what Steam has for theirs but I was talking about spending money for a game with expansions for a disc version and being completely upside down whenever you discover that the game doesn't actually live up to the hype and then even if you were to try and sell it to someone else you lose out but it is what it is. Also being its incredibly inconvenient to sit down and try to play something and then having to get up to use a disc that even if you take perfectly good care of can end up being scuffed 'just cuz'.
