And if the sponge fails, a brush can be easy to clean with too.

i wash my bottle without soap because it tends to leave some after taste that i dont like

I scrub with a bottlecleaner and use tap water to rinse

sometimes i leave them soaked in salt+water to kill bacterias

but for few years now i just dont contact the bottle when drinking (pour it into the mouth)

that has kept my bottle squeeky clean for a long time (little to no bacterial growth)

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Wait, do you really put all other bottles you own to dishwasher? Do you have some special industry one with holders to keep then down-right?

That could work. Still don't think its as effective than using brush because all the irregularities.

I don't, I just rinse it (though I don't drink anything but water from it).

In real life, I act like I know less about tech than I actually do.

Main build: CPU: AMD Phenom ii X4 955 Black Edition @ 4,0GHz (Cooler Master 212) | GPU: MSI RX580 8Gb | RAM: 12Gb DDR3 | PSU: Chieftec CTB-500S  | Mobo: Asus M4A87TD/USB3 | Storage: Seagate 500Gb HDD

Yes, I'm aware my CPU is a huge bottleneck. No, I don't really care.

Laptop: Asus TUF FX505DT 60Hz 8Gb model
