How is Corsair CX 550 PSU ? is it better than Gigabyte B700H ?

Anon1

Idk about the B700H, it's not on the PSU tier list, so i wouldn't buy it myself.

The CX550 is a solid PSU.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

In simple terms the Corsair CX550 uses a more modern DC-DC design w/ LLC. Gigabyte B700H uses an older group regulated design. If you need 700W then you shouldn't be using a budget PSU like the Gigabyte B700H so the wattage is irrelevant in that case. The CX550 is the better of the two.

The CX550, hell, even the CX450 is MUCH better suited to your system

550W would be more than enough. Of those two options I would pick the CX550.
