Facial hair and hair on your head don't necessarily match.

I've seen plenty of light blonde fellows with black beards.

 

Personally I've always thought Linus had brown hair, but now I think it's more like dark blonde (although genetically, I don't know if there's a difference).

Plus, the color of his hair (and skin, etc.) can be influenced by lighting and color corrections too.

My brother has brown, black, red, and white hairs in his beard since he started growing it a few months ago. He has always been brown haired.

I have light brown hair that turns blonde in the sun.

 

My beard was ginger - so I have spent my entire adult life cleanshaven

 

Now it's just grey. Jokes about Santa are almost as bad as Ginger ones.

Yeah most do. My California drivers along with my CA boating license has hair and eye color.

I hate to break it to you, but when you've reached the point of "clearly some type of blonde", it's not blonde anymore. It's a more dignified color.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
