I have this one as well. Damn is it plastic and cheap feeling, but it's sharp enough, so there's that.

Don't know what it is about the 135 f/2.8, but everyone and their brother made one, and then licensed it to their cousin.

I used a 35mm on both crop body (Nikon d2x) and full frame (D3x and 1DS Mark II) and preferred using the 50mm for people. Perhaps it's just my style of shooting, but I never really was comfortable using a 35mm lens. I'm not even sure I have them any more.

What I find funny is the site says in stock ships 1-3 days yet:
image.png.af9e8c63d3d3c47f4e8edafc08df4a1b.png

I'm in no rush in getting anything, all import fees paid (free shipping too) since I have a 90% chance of it going threw Montreal, who actually does their work in customs lol... No free ride in that sense, saved $3 via PayPal by letting my bank charge the currency exchange instead of PP. (Hint hint to anyone using paypal, might be worth shooting a small exchange purchase to test this and find out which is cheaper).

When I do get it I do live close to a trail so I can take everything for a test run, I have a new 2GB card as well (a 16 or 32gb somewhere), however no idea where my CF reader is...

It's more likely in a bin of old electronics or something even tho I know it's not old and still technically can be used (multi function). I also would like to say those mags don't exist but I fear what might be real in this case lol. This avatar is actually from steam, originated from a audio comment on ETS2MP (in game, I think I still have the clip), and since I was basically a sniper in CS:S (never liked the spin wheel in Go), the image should be self explanatory now 😂 Oh on a server I played on I was known to run around with just a knife 🤪

Edit: Just noticed the shipment will be shipped by UPS, so I just saved a ton off of custom fees in that sense.

Anyone have any opinions on the EF 70-200 F2.8 vs F4? I've heard the 2.8 is not really worth the price or weight unless you desperately need as much light as possible, but I'm hoping to get some first hand oppinions.

I"m actually in the same boat, considering you can get a f/4 with IS for ~600$ (used) I won't miss that extra stop of light, especially given the crazy high ISOs cameras can get to these days without loss of image fidelity.

I've only used the F2.8 it is a heavy lens and without a good strap cross shoulder it will kill your neck even on a lightweight body

Anyone have any opinions on the EF 70-200 F2.8 vs F4? I've heard the 2.8 is not really worth the price or weight unless you desperately need as much light as possible, but I'm hoping to get some first hand oppinions.

Tried both and I'll say, I think the argument for either depends on how budget conscious you are while making the decision. They'll both get the job done. Is the 2.8 heavy? Yes. But the F2.8 Version 3, in the new white, with AirSphere, is REALLY nice. It's definitely a unique look, when opened all the way up at 200mm.

You don't NEED it. But it's in the Holy Trinity for a reason.
