Hi,

I just ordered a lian li O11D XL, I want to run 10 fans (i know it's bit much but whatever...)
How would I get power/rgb control to 10 QL120 fans from corsair?

For the RGB wires I can use a lighting node pro and then connect 2 lightning node cores to that.

How would I get power to all 10 fans so I can still control them all through Corsair's Icue software?

Commander Pro only allows up to 6 fans

Group a few of them? Not like it's useful to have individual control of all 10.

No, you wont have enough power to run 10 fans from one or two motherboard headers. 

 

I'd use something like this:

Signal comes from 1 motherboard header, power comes from a SATA connector (NOT molex) and it's compact and mountable in a few different ways.

The Y splitter was a response to the Commander pro only having 6 plugs, no problem to add another 4 there.

How many fans can you comfortably run from a Y splitter? 

Some say 2 others say 3. 

I'm thinking about splitting power with a Y splitter for both CPU fans on a noctua cooler.

If you want to be sure look at the fan's power consumption and the controller's max rating.
