I am using a 2070 Super card for 4K gaming and it can do 60fps just fine :P

To 1080p will be ez pz for it.

With its NVENC encoder it will also be doing streaming/recording very well (I mainly just record and it does really good in that!)

At what kind of settings? i am in a dilemma now with the new cards coming out. i dunno how to upgrade from a 1050 ti to rx 5700, 2070 super or 2080 super. or just get a cheap rx 580 or 590 to tide over till the 3070 arrived? its a headache.
Gaming on a 4k 60hz TV. trying to get smooth gameplay with at least medium settings.

2070s would be the minimum I’d use for 1080p. I assume I’d be great for streaming given how well the new encoder looks.

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

Well I can tell you for sure an RX 580 won't suffice it for 4K gaming ( I upgraded from that, because it couldn't )

The 2070 Super nowadays can do 4K gaming at the highest settings at barely 60fps. Turn down the settings a bit and it can do it easily.

But of course there are many different games, for example CSGO already played fine at 4K, so did Dirt 3, it was just certain particular newer prettier games that didn't run at 4K on my old card.
