Probably Contra or Blades of Steel on the NES. My dad and I spent uncountable hours on those games. The first game my dad loved was Galaga.

hey thats my game lol,

I remember going to sears with my mom still and buying that game ,I am all most sure it was like $70 back in the day "first cart to ever use a battery to save your game"  all most sure it was or one of the first.

Mine must be "The Getaway" on the PS2 I believe, before that game I only really played to beat others at stuff like Crash Team Racing and so on. "The Getaway" was such a brilliant game

For me it was pokemon man. I remember getting a gameboy color for my birthday and played the shit out of it. I spent hours trying to catch all the pokemon. Loved that game. After that i went to gta liberty city and wwe smackdowb vs raw on my psp. Lol.

Crash Day together with Red Alert 2 were my first PC games but all of my childhood hours, at least a huge chunk of them, were spent on a PSP with GTA Liberty and Vice City Stories (that I still play time to time).

Watch out, there might be ninjas out there  :ph34r:

HAHA My favorite was HotWheels Racing back on the PS1, i still play it from time to time....Its just so good.  No plot or great effects just a great game

Don't remember which one I played first and loved, I played several games before these but I know I really got into gaming with Morrowind, Halo CE, and Command And Conquer, Red Alert.

Final Fantasy VII my bro showed me when I was 13 or 14 then right after Final Fantasy Tactics. Both are FUCKING AMAZING. The first game I lost the most of my life to would be when I was 14-15 and played Diablo II for like 6 hours a day after school minimum for 3 years straight.

What is the first game you played and absolutely loved?

Edit: mine was Gears of War 2, I played the shit out of horde mode, but that was before I knew of the master race. Sadly, no emulator for it yet.

Faster Than Light was the first game I really fell in love with. I had gotten "addicted" to some other games before but nothing rivaled my need for FTL. When it came out on iPad I had to be careful not to pull it out literally all the time.

Mine was tekken 2 on the ps1(played tekken 1 first, but tekken 2 was immense), my grandfather used to get drunk and button bash the crap out of the controller and beat me every time......... good times :D

While the original mario and pokemon games were great, and a lot of fun to play multiplayer.

 

Legend of Dragoon was, and still is, the greatest game of all time.

couple years ago before I heard about the difference between consoles and PCs its embarrising but I played call of duty ghots on the ......... XBOX :blink:
