Seems to be working for me. If you open the dev tools (F12) and switch to the network tab, then add an image and leave it ~30s, there should be a "POST" entry that appeared about when you pasted - can you click on that and send a screenshot of the details?

I am actually having the issue now. Seeing as how much I enjoy posting memes, this issue makes me real sad 😢

me too,  I've tried 120Kb jpegs, standard of the camera jpegs, png, etc and nothing will get passed the "queued" part.

I did the thing Colonel Mortis requested and it went to post then did nothing and the number at the end stayed at 1032ms or something like that.  Has been like this for over a week now.

I'm running win 10 latest with updates and FF 75.

Can you upload the screenshot of the dev tools somewhere else, like imgur, then embed the image here?

I just have to create an account, imgur want my phone number and country.  That safe from your perspective?

Interesting, the upload didn't start at all. Does it also happen if you turn adblock off? If that doesn't fix it, can you post what appears in the console tab of the dev tools?

As above, do you have an adblocker/does it work without it, and can you post the output of the console tab of the dev tools (F12)?

That's to do with uploading a large image (by uncompressed size. not directly related to file size), and is separate to what's happening here.

So I disabled ABP completely and nothing changed (i have it disabled for here anyway).  It appears I can still upload from my laptop with ghostery.

Is it worth re installing FF?  It's kinda a weird problem, but it seems a few people are experiencing it.

I worked it out.  I had to reduce my image size.  Even though it was under the 20M limit the each pictures was 3.1M.    I resized them to 1.6M each to be sure and they all uploaded fine.

Here's a picture for your help:

It's the console tab that I'm particularly interested in, ideally with any errors expanded, like this:

image.png

(If you can also copy+paste the contents, that would be helpful).

I don't get the same behaviour when uploading a large image, and size doesn't seem to be the only factor because the previous screenshot of the network tab was only 200 kB.

Just had the same issue. Attempted to copy and paste from paint a 1344x1043 image. I also got a nice error message despite an HTTP 200.

Thanks. That stack trace isn't great, but it gave me enough information to get started debugging it. I've identified the issue and provided a fix to IPS, so this should be fixed in the next forum update, which will be at some point in the summer.

It's triggered when you paste an image that is > 2MB, which is pretty big for an image, especially one being pasted.
