Singleplayer or casual multplayer games to play during quarantine

Underi

Hey. I'm stuck at my father's place for the next month or so in quarantine. He lives at countryside and we have a pretty decent 4G network, but the speeds are abysmal during evenings due to everyone using the single 4G mast here.

That's why I'm looking for some games to play to pass the time.

The specs are quite decent for most games, my father's pc has a Xeon X3470 (3k passmark score for reference) and a GTX 660. This should be able to run mo happy hours happy hours happy hoursst games well.

I'd prefer either singleplayer games or multiplayer games where high ping and low bandwidth are not a problem. I've already tried LoL, R6S and CSGO but I simply cannot play it with over 100 ping.

As for genres, honestly almost anything. Lately I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online and Oblivion, some Battlefield campaigns, Shadowrun, Civilizations V.. List goes on. I find myself just not wanting to play these games right now, I've exhausted myself.

My stuff:

Spoiler

CPU :  Intel i5 8400 | GPU : MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB

RAM : 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @ 3600MHz

Mouse : Logitech G502 HERO SE | Keyboard : Mountain Everest Max w/ Cherry MX Brown

Headset : Beyerdynamics DT990 Pro 250Ω w/ AT2020USB+

Monitor : Acer XF240H @  144Hz

Ori and the blind forest/ori and the will of the wisps, transistor, bastion, enter the gungeon, ... it's a change of pace from what you've played lately might be nice.

I've been playing Euro Truck Sim 2 these couple days, I got bored of what I usually play and ETS2 is always a good way to sink many many hours.

i mean there's just cause 4 that's free, but i love the portal series (You probably have already played them. If you have not you must play them now and even if you have played them you must replay them.) If your dad is around you 2 can play overcooked 2.

NOTE: I AM NEVER ALWAYS RIGHT, BUT I AM HAPPY TO HELP ANYWAY I CAN

If your willing to pay a great game would Oxegen not Included, it is a single player game and doesn't require to much from your specs.

If you like any vehicle combat games, you might like War thunder, it is mainly multiplayer though, aside from the few dianamic campaings you can play, the game is F2P so you don't need to worry about spending a penny on it.

I also heard somewhat about Stardew Valley, I can't say for myself but its there if you like pixel games.

Train Sim World is surprisingly fun.  And I will also throw in a recommendation for Stardew Valley.  I generally hate these sorts of games, but I just love this one.

KOTOR 1 & 2 are great but you gotta run some mods so they'll do things like support widescreen. They haven't made a good Star Wars game since these two otherwise I would recommend something more recent.

Dragon Age Origins

Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided
