Maybe. Only 1 of the 8 codes that was sent to me actually worked. I have no idea why either. I am just still happy that I even got codes :D

It seems like this is AMD's equivalent of Nvidia's GeForce Experience but we'll see.

i may be wrong but i think this is a repost as this is the Raptr AMD app and has been around for quite some time. the only new thing i see in the link is the use of twitch broadcasting

I clicked the link in the article and it took me to raptr.com/amd and the comparison photo for auto optimization made me angry, didn't even try to emulate no aa, low resolution it's literally blurred unblurred

Well, AMD very recently updated their app with new features and rewards/giveaways and it was just announced today from AMD themselves.

Seems like a nice bonus, but free stuff for doing stuff like playing games, optimizing settings, and updating drivers? Seems almost baffling to me. The real income of points must be from the streaming, and I imagine there will be some sort of AMD logo on Twitch or wherever when you do it. Interesting, I suppose.

Instead of a rewards program, AMD should just get their retailers to lower the damn prices of their gaming cards for people who want to use them to game.

I don't know what AMD's strategy is but people are buying AMD gpus just for mining and the rest of us can't even buy one for gaming. :(

Looks a tad fake, like someone just photoshopped or modded GeForce Experience to have some form of AMD-theme. Multiple elements look to be exactly the same as in Nvidia's version.

 

I don't know if it's just me, but seems fishy.
