They mentioned the forum event in passing. I just wish they got the link right tbh. Not the end of the world as we are still high up on the list and at the end of the day we are all folding towards the same cause.

Well, time for me to stop lurking and join this. Just saw the TechLinked video and figured I should get all this set up. Stuff kinda seams broken and I can't get a Passkey. Just no email showing up, and I've checked spam already.

My internet is being a pain but I think that is wifi interference more than anything else. It also gives me an incentive on getting my 5700xt system a good run.

Go Transit also threw in a wrench into my happiness learning all York U classes have gone online by possibly killing service for me to take them to work costing me time or money (and safety by having to use the TTC over a simple train).

I am new and wondering if it is worth the extra electricity I am using to having my cpu (8600k) and gpu (1080ti) going at the same time or just my gpu? My cpu is doing only 40k points per day while my gpu is doing 1.6m or in other words my cpu is only doing 2.5% what my gpu is doing.

Disable your CPU as it also hurts your gpu for Nvidia if I remember correctly. Depending how long the task for the CPU is going to take might as well let it finish.

Anyone know how to get the viewer working? It keeps showing demo, and I was lowkey wanting to watch a protein spin while doing online school the next few weeks.

New to all this and decided to donate some of my stock 2700X and OC Vega 56 to the cause (and free heat for the home) but I'm getting work very intermittently and only for CPU. If I disable CPU I get some GPU work but it's even more sporadic than CPU work which seems to come in about every 30-40 minutes maybe where as it sat for an hour idling for GPU work when I disabled the CPU. I don't think there's anything wrong with my config, it's just an out of the box install. Error I get is a little different but seems to be fairly wide spread as well.
