Is this a good combo?

So lately i bought a i9-9900KS and i wanna get a 2070 super for with it, However i'd like to know if i should run the i9-9900KS with the 2070 super or a other processor with the 2070 super?

i mean if you have it, why would you get a different one?

the 9900ks is currently the best gaming cpu, so it can run with any gpu on the market.

i7 9700K, RTX 2080 or 2080 super, use nvenc to stream.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

@Fasauceome I don't have the money to buy a rtx 2080, My max for my pc budget is the rtx 2070 super.

that's why I suggested the i7, it costs less and it lets you spend more money on the graphics card.

there is of course also the ryzen 5 3600 which is a very strong contender in this performance category.

The cpu won't be the bottleneck, a 2070 is a beast graphics card but you will get more performance with a 2080 ti obviously

it woulda been better if you got the 9700k and a 2080S, or the 3700x for the budget, but you already got the 9900ks so just get what u can with ur budget.

Then why'd you buy an i9 9900KS? you really only notice any advantage on it over a 9700K with the 2080 Ti...

Either ways if the 2070 Super is the best you can afford then what are you even asking, just buy it... there's not much else to do here other than maybe wait to afford at least the 2080 Super instead.

@Princess LunaI thought it might be good to stream with, but apparently its better to stream on Graphics Card. :/

Yes NVENC will you give almost the same quality as CPU encode but without performance penalty.

If that's an option you could to that, although isn't a ryzen 7 better with more threads for streaming? you'd have to get a new motherboard then though so a i7 9700k might be a better choice

The CPU doesn't care about the amount of RAM. As long as you have enough for the programs you need to run you're good.

That isn’t a thing. Some workloads will benefit from more RAM, like video production. But you will see absolutely no improvement in everyday computing or gaming from stepping up to 64 GB.
