What about that

It's the same VRM as the V1 but slightly differently configured due to some reason, it'd be in the same tier as the V1, so Tier A (200A).

Unsure, If I had to guess It'd just be because of a lack of information on the board, or a lack of interest. Pretty vauge  I know, but it's the best I got. I beileve that the x570-i gaming mini is the same as the x570-i, which is listed on the tier list in (iirc) tier-A, and is on the spreadsheet:

@JurrunioHello! I have got my hands on the Ryzen 3 4350G, I am deciding between AsRock B450M Pro4 and Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2. According to your list the Pro4 is 1 tier higher than the DS3H and also features wise it seems like a better board. Iam gonna pair 3200mhz CL16 2x8GB ram with this build. Would the CPU and MoBo form a good combination?

Thanks!

the SOC VRM (which powers the iGPU) has no heatsink, failing the DS3H for use with APUs in gaming

Hello.

I'm going to assemble a computer and I have two motherboards, I have to choose one.
- Asus rog x570-e (310€)
- Asus rog x570-f (210€)

I would like to know if I need Asus x570-e for the VRM. The connectivity of x570-f, is enough for me.

The components are: 5900x, 3080ti, g.skill 3600cl16, ssd nvme m2. cpu cooler, deepcool assassin III

I plan to overclock with these components, I don't want x570-f VRM to be the limiting factor of the computer.

VRM wont be an issue for the F, but lack of BIOS flashing capability without a CPU means if you are unfortunate enough to get an older board with BIOS that doesnt support 5th gen, you'll need an older CPU to do the update.

are B550s not an option? If the X570-F does indeed not have bios flashback that's personally a no-go, X570-E is better in this case. Or if you can get B550 the Strix-F is a solid choice, or Strix-E if you need the USB Type C and some other extra features

On the google docs Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro-P (mATX) have the same VRM as Aorus PRO/Elite (ATX). Are they on the same tier now or still the same as the non P model on tier C

The Pro-P is significantly better than the older non P model, and it'd perform similarly  to the ATX Pro/Elite, so it'd be in Tier A/S- according to this list's scale.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

What country, shops are u buying from ?

New X570S should be widely available (at least msi tomahawk and gigabyte models), so I'd either go with X570S Aorus Master, or MAG X570S Tomahawk Max WiFi. One cool thing is the MSI has the new ALC 4080 audio chips. It's also has WiFi unlike the master, and it's gonna be a bit cheaper.

Msi mag x570 tomahawk wifi & Gigabyte X570 Aorus pro Wi-Fi am4 atx motherboard at the same price

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite Wi-Fi am4 atx motherboard is less than both of them there is not too much price difference but i can buy these 3 these are in my budget

the 5800x is gonna be fine on any of those 3 boards, check out this detailed comparison, and see if u really feel there's a feature u need with the more expensive ones. And if there's not the aorus elite would be more than fine.

Are you planning on upgrading the CPU in the future maybe ?

Not good, it's nothing like the ATX version with a worse VRM (compared to it's ATX Counterpart) that's also lacking a heatsink, I'd look at other budget mATX boards, the B550M Pro-VDH, the B550M Aorus Pro-P, the B550M TUF-Plus are pretty good, as well as the B550M Mortar though that tends to go for a bit more than the boards mentioned above.

Hi guys,

I'm new here so I've been reading most of the post abd finally i wanted to ask something. This is my setup:-

AMD RYZEN 5 3600

ASROCK B450M STEEL LEGEND (it sucks they say)

MSI RTX3070 VENTUS 2X OC

KINGSTON HYPERX 2666MHZ 2X8GB

LIAN LI 240 AIO COOLER

SUPER FLOWER 600W 80+GOLD PSU

I've been thinking to upgrade and maybe do a bit of OC on my 3600 and Ram. So my question actually is:-

1) is the power supply good enough? Should i upgrade to a better / more watts?

2) should i maintain the board or should i upgrade to a better b550 board. I have Strix-A(my casing is white) Strix-F(WiFi, why not?), Carbon Wifi(MSI fan, but is it good?), Aorus Pro AC(cheaper), and Gaming edge on my mind. Or any recommendations? -+$200

3) should i get a better ram speed and OC or should i maintain and OC it? Will there be significant difference in terms of gaming?

4) Will the processor do good in OC?

5) Wi-Fi 6 built-in or using PCIE is better? Just asking since i have a WiFi 6 system currently at home

Thanks in advance!
