It seems alright, although I'm wondering why you got 32GB of RAM, seeing as you opted for both a cheap CPU and Motherboard? It would be better to opt for something like a Ryzen 7 3700 and an X570 motherboard. Just get one set of 16GB of RAM and put the extra £125 towards a Ryzen 7 CPU (and possibly a 'better' motherboard if you still have some remaining money).

 

EDIT: Never mind what I said about the MOBO, saw that you are using a MicroATX case. But I think your money is still better spent on a 3700X and 16GB rather than 3600X and 32GB

ryzen isn't very happy with 4 sticks of ram. if you really need 32GB (you don't for gaming), go for 2x16GB

I got 4 sticks of RAM because there are 4 slots on the motherboard and it's ugly to have empty ones. But since someone said that Ryzen doesn't like quad channel I guess I'll settle for 2x8.. and have 2 empty slots

no quad channel either, with 4 sticks it runs each channel with two sticks instead.

I really appreciate your response but could you please to back and re-do your changes to my list but change it to UK?

 

Some of the items aren't available at any store.

Additionally there are a lot of deals at the moment and it is possible that there is a better item available for a better price than what you chose but you missed it because you used a US list. Thank you

I have a mouse, keyboard and monitor already but my monitor is 1440p and I am seriously considering buying a 1080p high refresh rate monitor later on.

I don't have a budget but my main goal is to play Witcher 3 smoothly.

I think I might as well stay with the parts that I chose earlier that another guy suggested. I might want to sell the PC later and having RGB will prove very useful as many clueless people are impressed by shiny computers.

 

I currently have a 1440p 144Hz monitor but I was thinking that maybe 1080p @ 240Hz is better?

um, no. 240hz is mostly a gimmick against any decent 144 hz panels.

Could you please explain if anything is uncessary and also why? Or if you have any better idea? Please note that my goal is not to have a cheap build. I think RGB overall is a good idea because it will make the PC easier to sell later. People with not much PC knowledge are usually impressed by RGB.

I will disregard your RAM suggestions since they're all lower in Mhz. I've been told that Ryzen needs high Mhz RAM.

they are actually not all lower mhz. even tho they give more or less the same performance.

Okay you are right about the case but I don't like going back to your air cooler.

If I am going to have a RGB build then I want to do it properly and also have a RGB cooler. Please suggest one or let me know if the Thermaltake one is fine
