i'm not sure if it's the same kit but i got the 4266 cl17 1.45v tridentz when it was on sale, i'm only running it at cl16 3866 1.4v atm, just bump up to a voltage that you can accept and see how far it goes.

No one uses this memory kit?

I have a TridentZ DDR4-3000 CL14 kit, and no complaints so far.

On the Ryzen and Intel systems I've used/tested them on, no issues.

Uses Samsung B-Die memory chips.

The F4-3600C15D-16GTZ should also be using B-Die Memory, so it should work pretty good with Ryzen.

See how defulat XMP DDR4-3600 CAS 15 runs.

If that setting doesn't work out, tune it down to DDR4-3400 or DDR4-3200, and see if CAS 14 timings work out.

I got that kit of memory and its great with Ryzen! Samsung B-die baby, Push that voltage to 1.5V and download Ryzen calculator you will get 14 timings with that and a small OC too.

The kit is good, but nobody can guaranty an OC, especially if you don't know what to do.

It is a common trend that nowadays the manufacturers bin their CPUs, and RAM modules better, selling a higher-speed chips as a faster kit for a higher price :)

Samsung B-die has (or used to have) 4000MHz+ potential.

Never overclocked ram, and I've read up that it can be messy.  However trial and error is part of the fun too... until something bad happens. ?

Hopefully the kit isn't binned, sticker on the back says 10/19 so you're probably right.

I also read that Samsung is phasing out B-die, chose this just incase.
