When everyone's SUPER, nobody is - Nvidia mobile GPU gets refreshed

Now that all the low end current generation desktop cards have been given a SUPER treatment, the laptop lineup will also be get an upgrade as well.

For desktop PCs Nvidia has already introduced in July 2019, the new super graphics cards. This coincided with the launch of AMD's RX 5700 series, which is in direct competition with entry-level RTX models. Since we unfortunately have no competition in the high-end segment for laptop graphics cards, Nvidia did not consider it necessary to bring a refresh here as well. However, this apparently changes in 2020, where AMD also wants to launch the mobile version of the RX 5700 ( mobile RX 5700M ). According to our information, the RX 5700M is expected to position itself between RTX 2070 and 2080, so time for Nvidia to slightly increase performance. Even in the entry-level gaming segment, there will be more competition in 2020 with the AMD Radeon RX 5500M and5300M and also Intel's first own GPU called DG1LP .

Therefore, as with the desktop graphics cards, we expect more shaders and higher clock rates in the mobile versions as well. Especially the mobile RTX 2060 should win in the super version clearly performance. This can already be seen on the increased TGP from 90 to 115 watts. Also exciting are the new N18P variants which are classified below the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. The more powerful N18P-G62 will likely become a GeForce GTX 1650 Super, the new N18E-G61 a successor to the old  Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050  ( Ti ). Here we can look forward to an exciting name, how about Nvidia GeForce MX1650 SUPER Ti?

Since our information is still based on preliminary information (preliminary specs), these can of course be adjusted until the launch in March 2020. Even with the name would be a return to the M series as the AMD very desirable.

Thoughts: I think a lot of people are going to get buyers' remorse now, and there still doesn't seem to be much of a large response from AMD yet, the RX 5500M is good but not that good.

And until people get wise to this, and stop buying refreshes it will continue :)  Still rocking my R9 Fury's because in some games they still perform like a GTX 1070/ti variant.  If I get to use Vulcan API its even more drastic of an increase in FPS against still relevant hardware.

I just love that they put the R9 Fury against 1070/ti, RX 590 etc etc and it scored in the exact same area.  (but even then there are like 4 variants of R9 Fury's lol)

Waiting Nvidia to drop the word "Saiyan" after "Super".

I believe they are holding on to that for their 9000 line of video cards.

How dare you. You can't at least have the decency to link to anything about The Incredibles?

Why does it say "storage" for what should be memory? Does that bother anyone else? Or just me? Lol.

It's likely Google Translate doing a poor.

Yes, memory in German is Speicher, Speicher is used for both memory and storage.

Man, I can't wait to buy the Nvidia RTX 2080Ti Super Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Super.

I think i'll await for the ultra Instinct GPUs honestly. That's where the performance increase will be.
