Maybe, it was at about $45 from late November to early December. I don't think it's going to reach $1000+ like BTC did, but it's probably going to go higher. My guess would be late this year.

It peaked at ~$50 a little bit ago, but hasn't gone that high since. Right now LTC is at a low, so just be patient and wait it out.

Those who mined a couple of years ago. Lucky! Man, now you haev to spend $2k just to get something highly effient of mining....

At $21 I doubt it'll hit $50 in the next few weeks at least, probably longer.

The price of LTC has maintained for the passed few weeks.

It's not going to suddenly surge for no apparent reason any time soon. I hope you're not reading the chat box on any mining related site, because you may as well be using a ouija board.

No of course not, *sarcasm* check the 12 hour charts for Litecoin. No one can predict prices, or the future of the market whether is goes bullish or bearish. It's a free market and it's still in early price discovery.

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btce/ltcusd

Even thought the price follows Bitcoin closely, the price of Litecoin shot up far more than Bitcoin did in it's peak a couple months ago.

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btce/ltcbtc 12 hour chart as well.

No one can predict the market, anyone who says otherwise is lying take anything they say with a grain of salt.

Litecoin peaked at $48.48USD / 0.05199 BTC. It might hit that again, it might not. It might hit it tomorrow, or next year. There is no way to predict the market other than learning how S curves work for adoption. I for one am bullish in the market and the technology. More bullish on the technology than the market cap. The fundamentals don't change when there is a price swing, whether $1 or $1000, the underlining technology doesn't change.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

When are you going to write a book so that the uneducated heathens lacking common sense like me can internalize it?

I apologize that I may have shown my foolishness in regards to my folly of using a relative statement. As you said, markets do indeed go up and down unpredictably. :)

I humbly extend a link to a picture of a wreath for you in a vain yet insufficient attempt of appeasement and apology for my sinful lack of knowledge and clarity. Complimentary (heh) wreath

Salutations, @helping

haha, it's a beautiful wreath :)

If I was to write a book; It would be compiled of nothing but references to previous articles, interviews, and other people to listen to/follow. Half the book would be focused on reading and understanding the white paper and the real world problems it solves. I would title it, "The price is irrelevant. The true value of Bitcoin and Crypto-Currencies are immeasurable, yet to be seen, and it's not derived from the market cap."

While I have no intentions of writing such a book, feel free to pick my brain with questions anytime :)
