Getting a new case.

Dogsparky

I am looking at getting a new case, just always wanted a bigger case. but anyways. just wanted to start with a new case. more for aesthetics, but anyways. i was wanting a full tower that had a 5.25" bay, i need at least one. i was looking more into the corsair 750D airflow edition. budget is up to around 200 dollars or so. the design for it is nice. if anyone  knows of any good cases that fit this, link it down below. i will look at it.

You want bigger? make a desk pc. I'm sure that can be done for $200. Find a nice piece of glass and build around it.

i mean if you like the look and shit you might as well just get it

im sure youll regret it, i loathe large cases after having a 650d but w.e

https://pcpartpicker.com/products/case/#G=1,12&B=2,5,3,4&m=50,11,106,94&sort=price&t=4&X=237,123700

i made sure to check at least 1 5.25"

i made sure to check side panel windows and full atx motherboard

also i checked nzxt, cooler master, corsair and fractal design

If I had one wish, I would ask for a big enough ass for the whole world to kiss

i would go with this

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yX4NnQ/cooler-master-cosmos-ii-25th-anniversary-edition-atx-full-tower-case-rc-1200-kkn2

because it has a kind of retro feel, has bars to grab too

and on top of it its tinted TEMPERED GLASS which is just naisu

also if you are going with such a big case, hopefully you fill it up with harddrives or SSD's in the multiple HUNDRED bays

and get like an XL ATX motherboard just go all out huge

If I had one wish, I would ask for a big enough ass for the whole world to kiss

What do you need the 5.25" bay for? Almost no modern cases have one.

Just get an 011 dynamic

it doesn't really have to be anything new. i just like the expand ability, and i also want to be able to get a 5.25" usb hub as well,  i am already out of usb ports on the back. and have been needing more as well. i feel like t he airflow  edition 750d is my best choice, just was looking at other options to make sure.

Just get a USB hub that you connect to your front USB?

Otherwise the NR400 has one, you can sort by 5.25" slots on the part picker.
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/D2HRsY/cooler-master-masterbox-nr400-wodd-microatx-mid-tower-case-mcb-nr400-kg5n-s00
Or the older master case line has one, though the retail price seems inflated.

i really don't want to deal with any sort of dongles or anything. my desk is cluttered enough. it isn't that big of a desk. and i don't really have alot of room to just put it on my computer case, i have a bunch of stuff stacked at the front already.

The modern equivalent to the 750D is the Phanteks Enthoo Pro. Sadly the Tempered glass option look s to be out of stock (both Newegg and amazon)

You're going to have a very hard time finding a case with those drive bays. They're basically obsolete now.

If you're after more USB ports why don't you just buy an expansion card for your motherboard?

I don't know if anyone has said this or how good it would be but maybe check out the Fractal Design Focus G. It has 2 5.25" bays and is pretty cheap. Although you do need to get one or 2 new case fans as it only comes with 2 preinstalled fans on the front

to be honest, i don't really NEED tempered glass, i was just thinking the 750d because it was the cleanest looking one. didn't really look too gamery. i mostly just want to keep airflow.

haven't really thought of that. i have found a few since your post on amazon and newegg. there are some reviews that say they don't really work. would you happen to know of any good expansion cards for this? because if i can fine one that i know will work, i will just get any full tower really. and just use that for more ports.

I think Startech ones are usually pretty good, you'll always find reviews that say bad things when it comes to hardware and people just not knowing how to use them (drivers, etc).

Im gonna agree with a Cosmos 1000, or Cosmos II. They are amazing to build in.

EDIT: CM Stacker 830 is also amazing, not quite as friendly with coolers above ~125MM tall. They seem to be not easy to find, however.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)
