what the title says. I vote yes because the fan noise makes it sound more like a computer and it gives me the peace of mind that the cpu is staying cool

yeah cuz its kinda like in the 80's when you boot up your console and it has that overall machine sound which sounds pretty cool

not true. actually its only true if you have a 300mm fan then yeah it wiil be relatively silent. by silent do you mean the sound of the air or the possible sound of the bearings?

Naw, machines can run silent.

 

I prefer no noise but I do have some.  AIO + 4 fans, even in the R6 I can hear them when they spin up high.  Not a lot, and headphones or speakers usually are louder.

I like a computer with a bit of ambient noise, like just above the sound of the fans moving air, but a loud PC can get annoying. If you've ever used a computer with quiet fans you wouldn't want to go back to something with noisy fans.

Well the reality is that computers need fans. Without them, a PC cannot exhaust heat efficently. Yeah sure you can get fanless designs for most componets that need cooling but you still need to exhaust the heat generated in the case effectivley somehow.
