So any ideas?

If you dont need anything, then get nothing.

Hi guys,

So I gave $100(USD) to my sisters friend who went back to Australia for a bit. Her friend will be back in about a month.

I was wondering what interesting things I can get with that amount.

Any smart tech, accessory for my PC, accessory for my Note 9 or anything at all please give me some suggestions!

I gave her some money to buy something over at Australia because there's nothing much to buy here and it's ridiculously expensive.

So any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

If you need nothing, but nothing.

Save the money instead as anything as that price won’t be worth it.

True as I don't need anything right now. But things are cheaper there so I was wondering if there was something I can get.

Like most people up here say, but said differently:

If you are spending money on stuff you don't need.

Are you then saving or are you spending at a reduced amount?

Gamesystem: X3700, 32GB memory @3200mhz, GTX1080 Hybrid

Unraid system: Epyc 7352, 24/48, 96GB ECC buffered @2666mhz, 2x GT710, GTX1050Ti

Guess I'll save the money then. Coz I honestly can't think of anything I need.

Koala USBA Koala USB!

Joking aside, I agree with what everyone above says. If you don't need anything, no reason to spend money.

That being said, I also remember what it was like to live in a country with stupidly high import duties so that all the tech is much more expensive. And how every time a friend/relative goes overseas, we'd all ask them to go shop for us ?.

If you really need inspiration, I'd suggest you go browse their local e-commerce websites. That was our strategy back in the day anyway.

JB Hi-Fi

Harvey Norman

Amazon AU

I think the first 2 are more electronic-focused companies.

CPU: Vulnerable to Meltdown | Motherboard: Has LEDs that I can't see | RAM: Bought too much | GPU: Mostly satisfactory so far in our relationship | Case: Shiny, black, very heavy and tall, with a Firefox sticker | Storage: Has too many old HDDs | PSU: Hasn't blown up yet like it's predecessor | Displays: Mismatched from Craigslist | Cooling: As many Noctuas as there are fan headers | Keyboard: Keys are fading |  Mouse: Needs cleaning |
