Oh, sorry, but i saw the blue outline around my answer, and o assumed you were reffering to me.

No no, I was pointing ou that people becoming dumn required you and others to point out that SS is not shady in multiple threads.

That makes some sense.

In buildguide threads focus series is avoided giving the wrong idea, in reality its just that guaranteed good seasonic PSUs just cost too much to be recommended.

Yep, and they lack good low end offerings so there is no mention of them in budget threads. The result is, as I pointed before, someone saying that the M12Ii was dangerous and to replace it with a VS450 which is quite insane.

I mean the M12Ii is old but it's certainly more potent than a VS for 22.99$.

To clairify a few things...

1.  I already have both PSU's, just need to decide on which one to put into my kids system and which one to put into a PC I am going to sell.

2.  Neither are modular.

3.  While older, I thought the Seasonic might have a slight advantage.  However, with the FSP being newer and having less overall use, not by much, was wondering if that might give it the advantage.  If they are both really close, ie too close to call, I'll sell the FSP since it's already installed into the case I want to sell.

Fans are the only thing that usually die on a good PSU(I have 3 750w from 10 years ago I used back in the day 24/7 and eventually the fans died(7 and 9 years in semi-constant use)....I didn't clean them regular enough and I have carpet and several pets.)

Do either of them have warranties still valid?
