Great story. An other example how in many cases true success does not rely on a piece of paper.

Cool story bro. :D  But seriously, I've been watching your videos for ages, and I'm still surprised how young you are in comparison with the amount of knowledge you have on PC hardware and stuff. It's pretty obvious the LMG is a bunch of hardworking enthusiasts. thumbs up for everything you do!

Linus, are you planning on finishing your university?

Very difficult to go back at this point. I've got a massive debt (mortgage), a baby, and a job that consumes what little is left of my life beyond my familial obligations.

Nothing is impossible, however.

y'know, for quite some time i honestly thought Linus owned NCIX.

He may not own it, but as far as I'm concerned there is no NCIX without Linus. I sure wouldn't know anything about it if it weren't for him. As good as their prices and selection are I never really hear about them. Everybody I know has heard of and shops at newegg, nobody I know has ever heard of NCIX.

you are amazing linus! I got interested in technology thanks to one of your videos talking about gaming rigs, and afterward I just search and search for more about computer technology and robotics and I love them now and probably forever. They make me happy for some reason :) *nerdforever*

Like a bio for a lost mysterious king, writing a story for his followers... or something!

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The seafoam green table really ads to the outdated feel. In addition, I felt extra body hair was missing from this video.

The first video looks like and infomercial downloaded straight from a VCR.

But nice story, everything has a purpose, just roll with the punches.

Great story Linus, it just goes to show that hard work will eventually pay off. You're actually a big reason that I developed a large interest in technology, I was hooked ever since I saw my first Linus Tech Tips video. Enthusiast more than anything, but if there's one thing I've learned from reading this is that sometimes a hobby is more than okay. It's fulfilling and has the potential to honestly make it somewhere.
