How often is scrapyard wars

The Torrent

I love scrapyard wars, but how often does it take place? Or is it just when they feel like it.

Once or twice a year. They confirmed back at LTX that Scrapyard wars is in the planning stage and will begin filming soon so expect one early fall to be out on Floatplane and YT.

First Scrapyard wars was released February 14th 2015 (what a nice Valentines present, d'aww!)

Last Scrapyard wars (first episode) was released July 21st 2018.

There's 1253 days between those two.

Last Scrapyard wars was the 7th.

That means a new SYW is released every 179 days, or roughly every half year. Since the last SYW started roughly 1 year 2 months ago, that means we're overdue for one.

But keep in mind this show is dependent on a lot of factors, not the least of which is Linus', Luke's (assuming he will participate) and any potential guest(s)'s schedules. There is also a lot of editing involved.

So uhhh... Some day it will be released?

a new one comes out when they have time to made one and have a good idea for it. there's no point for them to make the same video again.

YouTube and it's viewers love it when you keep doing the same thing over and over.
Not saying it's a good idea. Linus is definitely above doing that, but... it would work.

They have talked about several issues around the series. Like ideas and lack of components in their area. I would say that at the moment once per year for major series is good pace.
