Looking to hop onto 1440p

Mad153

Against my better judgement, I want to buy a 1440p monitor even though I do mainly flight sim.

I have a generally meh to bad benq gl2250 where I can see the individual pixels and am just generally annoyed by that.

Ideally I would like a monitor around £200 but mainly want to know what the differences between these are:

ASUS VZ27AQ

ViewSonic VX3276-2K-MHD 32-inch

And the LG 32QK500 31.5" QHD

They are all around the same price but the lg is £40 more.

Is it worth to splurge for the LG brand?

I like high srgb but in general want the best value monitor.

Thanks

144Hz isn't super needed even if it's nice but VA is ❤️ imo.

I run a 32" 1440p VA monitor as my main that I got used but in new condition for just under €200 a year or something ago and its lovely.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Have you thought about ultra wide monitor? not sure how it'll work in a flight sim but it'll probably be fine, would be sick to play with

I think for simulator the extra refresh and freesync will give it the extra touch

Except a lot of people do........

You notice the moment you start using it.

Flight sim can never actually get to 144hz

Only ever maxes out at 50.

It is really demanding on my 1070 to and i5 8600

Take a look at your local used market, wouldn't have been able to get this monitor new so I got it barely used from a guy who gave up on his artist dreams
