TV as second monitor? [Will this work?]

Hey

So the question I have is this going to work.

 

My TV only has HDMI imputs.

I am using a 1050TI GPU

My current monitor only has VGA

So I have to already use an adapter to go from VGA (Monitor) to HDMI (GPU)  

These are the ports on the GPU i have.

Would it be possible to get something so I could use both? and it is a second monitor, its already mounted on my wall, and i tested the setup and it works perfectly.

sure, get a DVI to VGA adapter and use HDMI to connect your tv to your pc.

Won't work, that's a DVI-D port (unless it's active ofc)

Like stated above DVI to HDMI will work, best part is how it will transfer even Audio, I also have used a DVI to HDMI cable in the past when I had a GTX 560 Ti and it worked like a charm.

You can also buy a DVI-D to HDMI adapter, and connect with an HDMI cable. I've done this in the past, and it worked flawlessly. Displayport to HDMI (or DVI-D) works fine too, but is likely more expensive, because it's displayport.

 

For clarification: everyone above means DVI-D. DVI-I is more awesome than DVI-D (it has both analog (VGA) and digital (HDMI) connections, and you can recognise it from the four extra pins as seen on this picture:
