As much as the FX9590 is unimpressive today, considering all the stuff you're getting yeah I'd be okay paying $150 on it.

I agree, I’d pay $150 for that too...especially because of the 32gb of ram.

CPU resells on eBay for around that, 16GB of DDR3 sells for around that (the 32GB is worth 2x that) and that cooler is easily worth half that.

Bruh, buy it RIGHT NOW and sell it all on eBay.

My rig:

RAM: Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600mhz CL16 (1-to-1 Infinity Fabric enabled)

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super

*bought for $200 CAD off a friend who needed an RTX 3080, price was my reward.

CASE: InWinn A1 Plus in White with included 600w gold sfx PSU and included custom length cables

DISPLAY: 3x 20" AOC 1080p 60hz 4ms ,  32" RCA 1080p/60hz TV mounted above, all on a single arm.

Storage: C : 1TB WD Blue NVMe      D : 2TB Barracuda      E: 240GB Kingston V300 (scratch drive)

NAS: 240GB Kingston A400 + 6x 10+ year old 700GB Barracuda drives in my old FX8350+8GB DDR3 system

it's not the worst deal ever really , even though its ddr3 at least theres 32 gigs of it.

It would be a good deal if you don't plan to ever need a cpu or ram upgrade in the future.

CPU is still useable, it's a nice board and cooler and HOLY SHIT that's a lot of ram. Definitely a good deal, if you're not too bothered about cutting edge hardware.

As good as the 2600k is.

Especially if you do some Heavy overclocking.

Id get the other one. And perhaps resell it.

It’s not an awesome cooler, you won’t really be able to overclock the 2600K to its full potential with that.

Where as if you had the prior combo, the V8 would probably be enough to effectively cool the 9590...

Thats a pretty bad cooler.

Like it works, but its not good. The V8 is much better.
