I am sure there are other cases I am not thinking of that I liked from then but searching all over the internet for specific years of cases is not going to be a fun task right now.  Already sent too much time on the website tonight. LOL!

Oh that's screams 2011, might look into one of these.

Just do a few mods and they can be turned into a cool case for ATX parts.

I had the original Level 10. The one that didn't sell. because it cost $700 back in 2011. No, I didn't pay that much. I work at Micro Center and our store got one in and it never sold so after sitting on the shelves for 2-3 years I snagged it for $176

Completely agree with this. Those are super sexy cases.

 

One of my new plans is to source an LGA 1366-based Mac Pro.

My favourite for a long time was the Lian Li PC-X900 I still have it in a cupboard somewhere, it was enormous, and still bigger than most modern "Full Tower" cases.
My version didn't have the side window, but for the life of me I can't find a picture of one without it.
At the time I loved it, it was big and domineering, but once you removed the LED fans, and got some Noctua's in there it was near silent and very understated.

Plus it had pre cut holes for external water cooling, for me it really did have everything.
The only reason it sits in a cupboard now is that my current PC is an EEB motherboard and it doesn't fit.  So I'm saving it for when I come back from the land of crazytown.

Up till a few years ago you could still buy them new. Now it's all used cases, around $100ish. The 200mm fans on mine spinning at 600rpm are still going strong but it's been five years of almost continuous use so I'm not sure how much life they have left i them.

That's awesome! Even if they were the same price though I'd still have bought this case. In 2014 I was all about those 200mm fans, almost bought a HAF X and some other Rosewill case I cant recall (Thor maybe?)

I always liked the Silverstone Sugo SG09, which i believe is from around 2011/2012.

Time and time again i lost the opportunity to buy this case, i always wanted one but somehow never pulled the trigger.
