Going for RTX 2070 or.. Should I wait for ryzen?

So I have Everything figured out.

Except for the new problem.

Is it worth waiting for Upcoming Graphics Cards by AMD?

Or should I just go With Nvidia?

I am thinking about RTX 2070?

Don't you mean Navi?

Also how good is your current setup?

Well, ryzen is a CPU, so you can't really replace a 2070 with that.

And what do you want from it.

Cus if its just 1080p 60fps then i would say no!

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

If you're in no hurry to get a new graphics card, then wait.

Otherwise, you don't really have a choice so get a graphics card that's already on the market, in this case an RTX 2070.

Well first of all, make sure you throw the 2070 out of your thinking and into the bin where it belongs. It's so overpriced it's not even funny, and it barely scrapes past it's smaller brother the rtx 2060. For the extra 150 you pay over the 2060, you get 10% performance and 2gb vram. Not good enough.

If you can wait for Navi, do so as it'll be worth the wait. . If not, you've got 3 options. Vega 64 around $400 right now (It's absolutely amazing value, usually for the nitro+ or Strix models too), RTX 2060 for around $350 and Vega 56 for around $300.

Yeah brothers I mean Navi.

I am not much of AMD person, but am trying to shift to AMD.

With 3000 series Ryzens coming.

I would be upgrading from i7 5820K, in near future.

Right Now GC is priority Cause I don’t have one right now, and X99 needs GC to display.

We know more around the 27th May, when Lisa held her presentation.

Before that, its unknown.

But what we know is ~350€ for RTX2070 performance.

I think it depends if you want ray tracing Becasue the difference is VERY noticible when you turn RTX off after you have had it on but I feel like if i have never played the game with RTX on i would have never cared about it. 2070 performance is between a 1080 and a 1080ti so if you just get a  GOOD 1080 and overclock it its a cheaper 2070 with no RT
