I know it may be way too early to even start bringing this up, but how is the Military within LTTC going to function?

I don't really imagine we'll be enlisted into any official army, so with the group numbers we're pulling, it'd be more like a private army, I'd figure.

Heh, Militaires Sans Frontières anyone?

 

But yeah, is it once you join the LTTC military, you're stuck there for a whole term, or is it drop in and drop out when necessary?

 

What's in my head at the moment, is that we'd have a core ship, or structure, and the military aspect will be mostly on call demand, because this allows functionality. So, if you're enlisted and capable, and the group sends through an order for a group to go survey an area, then you're heads up and you're flying out. If someone pays the Conglomerate for protection, then we'll ship out some soldiers that are capable to fulfill the job.

 

Eh, I have no bloody idea what I'm going on, but I just don't honestly see a legitimate military working out for us, especially when it won't be our main focus at all.

Perhaps it's way too early to even think 'bout it.

Makes me wish they'd release more details...

Well, an invasion to take over certain spots of a galaxy that have good resources or a mining asteroid/planet. Don't forget escorts, going to special galaxies (will there be special vanduul/Xi'an galaxies?) that have a high interest from many other organizations (like scouting in a way)!. But yes, this military thing would not happen much more like rare occasions, when I say millitary thing i say as in wars or invasions or something. Dunno how that would work tho, but would be friking epic. I could see like a "exhibition" of some sort between organizations, like organization wars hehe.

Hmm it seems some misunderstand the Mustang so ill clarify it for yah.

Mustang and the Aurora are both Starter ships. 

The Mustang is a Gunner ship that has less armor Then the Aurora, No Missiles, Slightly smaller Cargo hold (looks modular but idunno) and is faster and more agile. typical a Glass cannon. 
The Mustang will be in MY opinion a ship more for "Advance" players while i Personally se the Aurora for the beginners.

Regarding the weapons, unlike the Aurora The Mustang have no Missiles at all, instead it has a two fixed guns on the wings and 1 ball turret looking  thing in the front, if it had missiles it would be slightly OP
also the Aurora´s guns are "Fixed" so they wont turn around like they do on the Hornet for example. The Mustangs´s have two fixed and is not.

There are as of now NO variations because the ship itself is not even 100% complete.

Agreed. I hadn't really bothered with the aurora because it looks like a fish to me lol. I also want something more...more..."I don't know what's that word but it's in my mind".

Question, does anyone know what all the original backers got from the early stretch goals? Like original/veteran backer exclusive stretch goal rewards? Just curious.
