i9-7980XE Build, Need Help Finding A Cooler

You have a good use for a powerful CPU but even if you were going for a normal sized ATX system I still think the i9 7980XE would be overkill for it.
The i9 9900K is the best single threaded CPU in the market and 8 cores / 16 threads already allows you to do a world of stuff, just think how not long ago you'd pay 1 thousand dollars for a 8c/16t processor (i7 6900K) now you get a much better one for half that cost.
That is a good idea if I had the room... I am a college student, and this is my final build before I move out and stop receiving financial padding from my parents. Not only do I want a system that takes up as little space as possible (hence Mini ITX), I want one that can last me 6 or so years even if that means I need to take the NAS offline to improve performance. That is why I wanted to go as overkill as I could reasonably afford now, as this build will see me through the rest of my schooling.
I do greatly appreciate your, and @SpookyCitrus' help, as simply thinking through it a little deeper helped my build make much more sense. I will be on the hunt for a 380T for the better cooling, and see what Zen 2 has to bring! (Though, this would more or less ruin any chance at hackintoshing. But, given my plans for Unraid this seemed unlikely anyways as I don't think Unraid hackintoshing is a thing).
Solution is simple, KISS and be patient
