does it have to be a 120mm aio? those are just about the biggest waste of money in the PC space

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Don't. They cost a lot more but do not offer any cooling advantages over decent air coolers.

There is room for a decent aircooler in that thing. Small cheap AIOs are truly a waste.

And Ryzen CPUs can use their included cooler instead.

Not if you're pushing a Ryzen R7 2700 to 4.0g

Um, yes. You can do that on the stock cooler. It will get a little noisy but its well within margins.

Also there are much better aircooler solutions to pick from instead of 120mm AIOs

And you are shure that isnt related to overly high voltage and powerthrottle.

Because if it overheats it will temp throttle.

It's not the voltages I've tested it in a H200 as soon as it went back into the 110 my temp were around 93 on air and with my oc it isn't eve at it's limit yet in the h200 I pushed her to 4.1g at 1.37 now I'm at 1.29* at 4.0. I know it's heat.

You would want at least a 240mm rad to keep temps in check.

Cant you fit a good air cooler in there like from Noctua?

You BSOD’d yes; I read that.

A single fan 120mm radiator ain’t going to perform better than an air cooler.

I have the H75 cooler, which works perfectly fine for me. However I am using a 1231v3 processor which can't be overclocked, so I can't really tell you how well it works for overclocking. My main reason for buying a 120mm AiO was aesthetics and the option to move to SFF if I would want to, if you are planning to overclock like crazy you might want to look into another case where you can fit some more serious cooling.

Over where I live the H60 doesn't make sense, it's an H75 with one fewer fan, but the price difference is less than what a single fan would cost. Don't know anything about the rest of them.
