For those with 1440p tier hardware, I highly suggest the Viotek GFT27DB for only $330, I've never seen a better TN in person and the Hardware Unboxed review showed that G-SYNC works perfectly well on it. Colors are that of a mid to high tier IPS, and performance is only matched or beaten by other TN monitors.
