MyDualPC - WorkPlayStream - 2x560rads | Dual ITX | Watercooled

Project: MyPC

It's finally time to make PC for myself. Until now my PC has been laying on the ground with continuously component changes. This is pretty done component-wise, but might see little upgrades. The idea is 2x ITX PCs with one water loop. One for work/games and other for streaming/work.

MainPC:

EVGA FTW GTX 1080 + EKWB Block

Ryzen 1800x 2700x

Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac Asus Strix z470 itx

2x8GB 3200MHz G.Skill

3x500GB SSD's + 1 2TB HDD for now

StreamingPC:

MSI GTX 780 + EKWB block

AMD 1800x

MSI B450i Gaming Plus AC

DDR4 2x4GB 3000MHz CL15

Watercooling loop:

2x Phobya G-Changer 560mm X 60mm radiators

EKWB D5+reservoir

The case is going to be my hand made a cabinet for RC cars many years back.

Monitors:

2x Benq XL2411z 24'' 144hz

Dell U3415W 34'' 21:9

Eizo EV2450 24''

Getting rid of HDD as this case works as a speaker with resonation. 1TB m.2 SSD ordered to fix this. After the last package arrives this will be completed.

  • Things to finish:
  • Power buttons
  • USB3.0 + Audio jacks to top of the case
  • Test how badly 100% negative pressure works here

USB hub is awesome! Upper ports are connected to streaming PC and lower ones to the main pc.

1TB m.2 installed and power buttons as well. :)

Been happy with this. No more HDD's in use and can't hear any sound from the system.

Temps playing and streaming

PC 1: GPU 45-50c (max peak 59c) CPU 38-45c

PC 2: GPU 30-35c, CPU 50-60c.

Room at worst 26c

Rendering on PC1 gets cpu up to 50-65c, but keeps 4GHz all core boost. While 3D working it keeps 4.1GHz for most of the time on all cores!

I like this build a lot good temps too. Though had i been you id mount the pump on elastic since you cant see it anyway, should make the build quieter.

Thanks man ? I'm running the pump at the lowest speed. (Button model, no PWM) D5's are beasts. All these blocks and radiators with one pump. Going to make a better ''door'' to the PC with some dust filters and cutout for usb's/headphones.

Maybe I'll put my ear on the case and make myself obsessed about sounds and make that elastic mount for the pump. ??

Fans arrived. I was planning to run them with DC 3 pin fan controller I installed earlier, but these and my other PWM fans seem to make little rattling noise when running with this controller. = Changed radiator fans to one single fan port. (Arctic says max 5 to one port with PST connection, but to my understanding fan port should support 1A/12v)
8xArctic P14 = at max 0.96A. Also, I run these with 20-30% speed, so I should be good.
Doing this gave one free fan port on the mobo to be used with front panel fans. (6x Arctic p12 PST). Using these fans as they should (via PWM port) keeps them running super quietly even with higher speeds. Way quieter than my Noctua p12s and with way cheaper price tag. Well done Arctic ^_^

Also wondering what kind of grill I'll do?

Wow. Looking pretty sweet. Is 1 D5 really enough for that big of a loop?

Uuu! A comment! ^_^ I was suprised as well. I'm running single D5 with lowest speed, without any problem! (Non PWM model with the red knob 1-5 speeds). Thank you! I'm very happy how this is coming together. Dead silent idle, dead silent 100% load. All running on min speeds, all OC'd. GPU temp have peaked once at 50 celcius. Valley benchmark and temperature hovers around 45-48.

Last day I ended up gaming and streaming +10h straight with this setup. Stream PC (1800x+GTX780) outputting 1080p/60fps/medium obs preset. CPU hovers around 50% load and GPU 40-50%. I wanted to use OBS preset LOW, but the outgoing stream is missing frames on Twitch side, even tho CPU not going over 90% and OBS saying everything is fine. Any clues for a fix? Maybe CPU is just not powah enough.

MainPC temps (2700x/GTX1080) at highest peaks GPU 54°C CPU 65°C and rads started to show some heat on them. Need to set fans to power up a little bit more than min speeds when the second PC is on high load. So far loving this box. (except the urge to upgrade has already hit me...)

Theres no reason to go below medium on obs, medium has 99% of the quality that slow does.

More like 96% ^_^ Better is better. With lower bitrates side by side I can see the difference and I like to push all performance out of the hardware. I was just surprised that LOW preset had problems with 1800x.

Currently making a front panel filter. Had to split it to 6 pieces and connect those together with clips (later with glue to make it solid)
