What should my job title be?

I joined a tech startup and me and my boss were discussing my title, neither of us know what it should be. Do any of you have an idea? I design websites and stuff. I think "Web Developer" is too narrow a term but i could be wrong. 

 

Heres a list of stuff I do

- Setup Ubuntu VPS's 

- Setup Hosting (Apache, PHP, MySQL) and SSL (Letsencrypt and certbot)

- Setup Domains and Cloudflare

- Install Wordpress

- Design Websites using Wordpress or HTML

- Take Support Requests

- Manage all the company tools (client portal, status page, etc.)

Really? From what ive seen a Web designer just does wordpress, html, or css. Nothing with hosting or backend.

Haha, Im sure "Tech Wizard" would look great on my resume... Even though its basically true.

These are distinct things. A web designer may not know how to develop a website. They are basically an artist and only focus on the aesthetics. Similarly, a web developer may not know anything about aesthetics.

You're doing WordPress and you install PHP so it's not totally untrue. Otherwise, "web developer and designer" encompasses the whole thing.

Yep. Designing is about aesthetics.

I personally used to focus solely on web development so I had to work with designers. I'm now doing both.

Interesting.. I might go with "Full-Stack Developer" or "Full-Stack Wordpress Developer"

I would go for "web designer and developer" because people tend to expect a lot from full-stack developers, like being familiar with frameworks like React/Angular, versioning, server administration, emails and stuff.

Seeing as you're taking on multiple roles, I'd find a way to include the word manager, director, or lead in there.

It'll look better on your resume later on.

I would say go with Web Designer. It sounds like you are somewhere between a Web Designer and Web Developer. But not enough by far to be called a Full Stack Developer. If someone lists wordpress on a resume I automatically assume Web Designer. That may just be me though..
