After over a year of debating parts and compatibility I finally came up with a parts list and me and a friend of mine sat down for about 8 hours and put together my new rig. Good thing was by taking a year to think about it I was able to boost my budget a bit from the original ~$2,500 to a final build price of about $6,000 including some stuff I already owned like my monitors and peripherals.

CPU Installed on the Motherboard :

 

Both GPUs Installed (which fun fact we ended up removing these right after taking the photo to take some plastic off the board that we forgot to do earlier even funnier is that you can see the plastic we had to go back for in photo #1) :

 

First Boot (which ended up giving me a heart attack because the second GPU's lights didn't fully turn on and I thought that something was broken) :

 

After installing windows and drivers we got the second GPU's lights working! :

 

Finale (After resolving all the problems and setting up my lighting) :

 

Now as all of you know builds don't always go right the first time and to have success the first try is pretty rare. While it looks like success let me assure you it was not. Even though the machine booted and functioned with its XMP set I soon started to notice problems pretty much right after my friend left for dinner.

 

My machine was randomly having Firefox tabs crash as well as several other program errors such as the GTA Rockstar installer crashing, Battle.net and Adobe CC both completely corrupting themselves while installing... I ended up doing 2 re-installs of Windows thinking it was just bad luck until a Blizzard Tech Support employee helped me discover a problem by asking for my MSInfo error log. The log ended up showing memory leaks and after a few passes of Memtest86 I discovered the culprit which was a faulty stick of RAM.

 

1 Month later after RMAing the RAM and I'm up and working with no issues . This is an extreme upgrade for me and it literally does almost anything with excellence. If anyone is interested in videos, benchmarks, temps etc free to ask! I've done tons of tests on this machine but I don't see anyone posting them so I've opted to not do it at first.

Thanks for reading about my build! I have a few things planned such as the above storage expansions as well as adding a metal cutout of my logo to the front It's super exciting to have a computer that really feels like its mine.

It's bigger than it actually looks... covers two ram slots and comes very close to touching the first GPU. I'm not overclocking the machine at all mainly for warranty/temperature reasons. Here in the summer it gets really unforgiving so I choose to keep things stock speeds. It keeps the CPU at a very nice 60C even under full continuous load and that is without having my fans turned up so I'm not too worried ;).

Thanks I guess? I work very hard to be able to afford the things I have as do most people who build stuff like this. My computer also helps generate my living so its kind of essential.
