I thought id get your attention with that headline ;)

So 2 days ago she planted a seed in my brain "you can buy a new monitor / sell your current mobo+cpu and get a new setup.. but ONLY 1 of them... today she smiled with the biggest damn smile ive ever seen and said.. "im feeling nice... you can buy all 3 if you want" ... i was like WTF ! .. current system:

X470  Ryzen 7 2700x with 2080 ti (that she also let me upgrade 4 days ago hahahha) 

So my question/dilemma is... i9 9900k and what motherboard i primarely game and sometimes stream while gaming but not alot... 
Monitor im getting is the BenQ EX3501R (already tested by users to work with G-sync) ;) 

Yes i will be dazzling with the potential 5ghz+ Oc... currently have a S36 AiO keeping my 2700x@4.2ghz 1.37vcore and 80c tops underload

Zen 2 is worth the wait, 5ghz out of the box.

even with lower ghz it is shown to match intel's best.

That is true, i have that in the back of my head aswell.... i will just keep hold of my Wife´s inheritance for now ;)

Just keep the 2700X and when Zen 2 releases, buy your overly expensive monitor and something like a Ryzen 7 3700X (12c/24t, about 5ghz when overclocked)

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

No patience.... going for the 9900k with the msi gaming pro carbon MPG mobo ;) massive headache at the moment tnx to the seed she planted ;)

Do you like sex? Because that's a sex trap deal. If you take her up on it, you will not have sex for a long time. Stick what your current setup, take her to dinner and sex several times because she's so impressed with your restraint, then buy a Ryzen 3000 setup when it comes out and be like, "What? You said I could."

 

Or she's got something she wants to buy of comparable price, and if you buy your stuff, she's going to expect you to say yes to her buying her unnecessary, frivolous thing because she allowed you to buy your new toy.

 

But it feels like a sex trap, tbqh.

Ok this might be to personal but here goes: 

I have MS and it has affected my libido to the extent that i have to use Viagra each time and 12 pills is 52 Euro and frankly we have sex maybe 1 - 4 times a month due to the stress she is having atm at Uni so Nope not a sex trap not even close... ;)

Oh i was just trying to be polite and ask the person to calmly leave the thread as i would do in any forum / walk of life ;)

I could but im very impatient when it comes to PC parts... ive worked in retail stores that covered the country and i always had the latest of the latest each time it came out... i only paid the price it cost for the company to obtain the said part +5% .... ;)

I had an older gen 4 Asetek 360 AIO (Thermaltake Water 3.0) and the S36 reduced temps quite a bit.  And I had those same 6 Corsair SP120L fans on both.  I never really used the stock fans by themselves because I don't like that the blades are white.

I'm still waiting on the PG35VQ and a GPU, all on IOU lol

 

But she got two nice purses and shoes and... I'm telling ya, it's a trick but I got mine so I don't care. lol

You cant see my white fans ;) got it setup in the front of the P400 Tg case ill post a pic with an older gpu installed ;)
Oh by the way thats my crappy 27" im gifting to my mate for helping me move on the 2nd of febuary ;)

Hehe i just realized in that picture you see a 1080 ti armor on the left on the desk and a 1070 gaming x in the machine ;) those speakers though.. from 2004 FUJITSU SIEMENS ;) powered by a powercord adapter ;) that sits between the plug that goes into pc and wall ;)

Right on.  I use a Thermaltake Core P3 so all you would see is white if I had the stock fans on the front of the AIO.
