I'm so sorry! Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family. There is a reason why I refer to them as furry children.

No, he's just being a normal dog, not a bastard (not mention he is cute as a button). Besides being comfortable, dogs like to "nest" in their owner's clothes because it has their owner's scent on them. There are ways to curb this behavior, such as providing the dog with his own place to sleep (a doggy bed, for example) and not allowing him to sleep on the bed (it will take a lot of patience to train him to do that). You can add an article of your clothing to the place you want him to sleep so he will have your scent. Crate training is another option.

Then there is the obvious solution. Put away new clothes immediately and put worn clothes into a hamper as soon as you take them off. Mentally, dogs are like human toddlers. If you don't want either to get into anything, you have to keep it out of their reach. And, just like human toddlers, dogs have to be taught what is right and wrong.

That "bastard" part was sarcasm though. :P

He is allowed on bed but never goes into clothes (on the picture is washed clothes, dirty clothes goes into the basket immediately) when we're watching, just uses the opportunity. This happens when we don't have time to, erm, fold clothes?

I got him completely when he was 9, previously he was with my grandpa who for obvious reasons didn't train him. Mind you he is about to be 12, so really we're not trying to train. He is well behaved in general but is stubborn, as hid breed usually is. Oh yeah, almost forgot, he has his blanket that we put on the bed, but it's drying currently.

EDIT: Oh right, he also has 2 beds. Best humping toys we could've bought him. They are exclusively sex dolls.

In sadder news, we finally buried Mojo on the three year anniversary, in our island next to where he used to lay in our yard for shade.

We were much surprised by Dinky's behaviour like this... I gave her a big unicorn toy when we got her, expecting her to use it as a surrogate mum/puppy, but instead she uses it as a sex toy :D

She actually humps it so much she goes head over heels a lot of the time. Then she sniffs/licks it ?

Not everyone empathize for other's grief in the same way. Some people cry a river (me; I guarantee that had I been there, I would have been blubbering away and I didn't even know the dog), some do so in silence, and others will fall somewhere between.

Looks like they're just lying in the sun (technically yes), but we're actually teaching them to put their heads down on command, aka the 'double-down, and to hold the position as long as we ask them to. It keeps them more calm than if they were just in a down with their heads up. It was also a hot day and they had just been running around like maniacs before I asked them to do this, lol. ;)

My ex's second poodle, otherwise the sweetest dog I ever owned or co-owned, would pull tissue paper out of the trash and shred it into tiny pieces onto a shag carpet when he was a pup. Fortunately, the dog understood, and hated, the word "NO!" so it didn't take long to correct the behavior.

Does a rabbit who likes rubs and acts a lot like a dog (and looks like a cow with its coat) count as a dog?
