this is with posts, it's nice info too

Post stuff, get reactions, be quoted, basically everything you do improves your reputation.

Don't know if something can cause it to go down.

It's like karma on reddit, it's just a number.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

It is a running total of how many "like" "agree" "funny" and "informative" you have accumulated over your time here. The more you get, the more auspicious your title becomes.

You can use this to gauge how reputable or helpful someone is on the forum. These numbers are displayed when you are in a private message with someone so you can know if you can trust what they say or not.

Pretty much this. ^^^

Reputation doesnt stand for knowledge just how well you have been received by the community. The more helpful you are the more likes, agree' you will get. If your funny people will mark your comment as funny... its mostly just a number. Nice to have.

For some reason people seem to like me to much but not as much as others...… /shrug lol /s   ?

Could equally be a spammer really so it's pretty difficult to discern.

I think our community is good enough not to give spammers rep. Also, our mod team is really good at getting rid of spammers to begin with ;)

Below that, probably something like Neutral. Above Liked, you have a few. Idolized, Legendary, Mythic, etc. Mythic appears to be the highest you can go, referencing Linus' profile as a source.

Sorta kinda. I wouldn't use it solely as a way to gauge someone, but it's a good start.

I have a "New Rule"

Posts should be graded upon if they are shit posts and if they are deamed to be shit posts, they do not count! I know for a fact Linus will read this and implement it asap. Thumbs up or thumbs down aka Shitposts. No more Like, Agree, Love, Informative.
