I would have threadripper 2990wx, 128gb of ram and 2x Titan V.

 

But to be realistic my planned upgrade is to get the r7 3800x, AMD Navi top-end gpu(if it beats my 1080ti in compute), and maybe another 32gb of ram.

I feel like all of the replies here will basically be high end consumer parts, K series processor, RTX card, etc. Which I can't disagree on, but what I would say is, the case HAS to be a modified Singularity Spectre.

Not modified like it is for Jayz Post Malone build, a bit more tasteful  But the whole idea of a reservoir in the spine of the case is legitimately different, and I love it.

I have my dream PC, the only thing I'd want to do is add an ultrawide 34" IPS display, and maybe set up a custom water cooling loop, but that's it.

Fair enough, here in Canada they go for like $1,800cad on eBay so as much as I'd want one I'll stick with my 1080 Ti haha.

A compact 15mm thin laptop with a vapour chamber-cooled 8th-gen H CPU, no dGPU so that the CPU can run at full tilt all the time, a 99Wh battery, thin bezels around a 15.6" 3:2 display, and an eGPU setup at home. That would be nice.

Having a dual motherboard PC case fully populated has been my dream for a while now.  and I have achieved this.  have two Front Panels just screams badass.  and Its an excuse to have a 1200W PSU, beucase they are badass.

Do you know i had to buy rx580 just one month ago because of the price and it still cost me around 500$ ( 35000rs )

That's rough, I got my 1060 6GB brand new early last year for like $350, my 1080 for $680ish, and my 1080Ti for $850ish, this was all before the big crypto explosion so even to this day the same GPU's still cost more than what I paid.

28 cores are pointless for gaming and small server stuff

Yes, ideally. 16 PCIe lanes would be a boon. But I guess the biggest problem at this point is that manufacturers focus on making throttlebooks by cramming 45w CPUs and dGPUs into small chassis, when they could easily put just the CPU and cool it adequately. I'm quite certain there's a market for that.

2,282,544 cores at with a peak theoretical performance of 187,659 Tflops/sec

2.8 PETABYTES of RAM

I think this beast would take LTT's folding team to the top pretty quickly

Post K will be about 5x faster. Should be for a total of $2.3 billion(1.3 for K and facility, 1 for the upgrade).

I'm also waiting on the R7 3800x or 3700x (whatever the best R7 CPU ends up being) fingers crossed for 7nm support on AM4 as AMD has promised, that's a big reason why I splurged on the Asus CH7.

^^^ Same, I also got the CH7, planning to get whatever the best CPU is for AM4 once they move on, then keep that for a year or two more at least.

Yeah, I think 3rd Gen R7 CPU's will be a huge step up in performance. I'm excited to see what AMD does.

Gimme a VCR Xbone and shove an 8700 and 1080Ti into it with an internal PSU and keep the BluRay drive, all while making it stay cool(ish) and as loud as a PS4 Pro. Toss in 8 USB 3 ports on the rear + that one on the side and 3 M.2 SSDs populated with a 512 and two 2TB's and we have a bedwetter. Deadass that's my dream.

Throw more SSDs, more HDDs, an Alpenföhn Olymp cooler and an RTX 2080ti on my current machine and that would totally be the one of my dreams!
