Roast MY build

Daddy Dave

So I am using the Sennheiser HD 598 because it has good VVS so I can hear footsteps in games.  I am paring that with the Fii0 E10K

My mic mic is a dynamic mic with a microphone mount on top. I need a good mic to only get my voice because I am gaming next to a TV that is always on. I am paring that with the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2

i feel like my mobo is trash. I honostly don’t care about RGB but if it had it, it would be a bonus.

PLEASE ROAST IT AND BE HARSH. BUT IF YOU ARE HARSH THEN I WANT SOME POSITIVE FEEDBACK AFTER ROASTING ME ON HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER. IF YOU DONT THINK I HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING THAN JUST SAY IT IS GOOD

give me better parts. Please.

Check out this build:

As for your build, you had a pretty crappy motherboard (the Prime Z370-A), an overkill PSU, and an overpriced RTX 2070. The Intel 660p also isn't the greatest in terms of endurance compared to an 860 EVO, and the H500i is an ugly, overpriced case compared to the Meshify C TG.

I got my rtx 2070 for 500$ on Black Friday. Best card I think since the 1080 TI is for 4K gaming and no one does that.

Also I like that motherboard and as for the PSU I left it that way to be overkill so for in the future if I want to upgrade anything I have enough power for it. A cheap 30$ more can save you in the later run I feel.

also for the SSD why did you decide to go with that since the one I had was a I think was a faster SSD or something. I don’t remember what it was called. Just why did you go with that SSD.

And is that mobo the best for my build you think

PSUs half the price is already enough. Antec 750w earthwatts gold pro sells at $60, while EVGA 750w G2 and Corsair TX750M cost $80

QLC SSD hasn't proved its endurance in reality yet, so I'd rather sacrifice speed for durability and capacity like the Samsung 860 Evo or Crucial MX500 (both 500GB).

Mobo to Gigabyte Z390 Aorus boards, for example the Elite starts at $1 more and the Pro at $9 more. That $8 difference between the two boards are as small as the price (slightly more memory overclocking on capable sticks, and thermal probes to play around), so you can choose between the two with your own preferences.

Don't forget about buying case fans

Thanks, but that only accounts for $550 of the $2500. From the specs I'm seeing that does not look like a $2000 PC.

The ASUS Prime Z370-A is crap, no matter what the price is. The Z390 Taichi is a great motherboard. An AX760 is overkill for a single CPU and GPU system, a Corsair RM650x is fine.

The 860 EVO is arguably the best SATA SSD on the market thanks to its good speeds and endurance. The 660p doesn't have great endurance.

That SSD is trash compared to other ones. You're getting a fucking awful deal on that graphics card, I don't know why you included the thermal paste in the build, that case is the first one that pops up on pcpartpicker so you obviously didn't care much about that. And you don't have a keyboard or mouse to go with it. It doesn't even look like you're actually getting this build. It just looks like you put one together super fast on pcpartpicker.

I don’t understand what you said. Just change it to what you think is best.

Do you think I got a good deal on the 2070? I got it for 500$ on Black Friday . I mean I think it is the best card that isn’t meant for 4K like the 1080 TI is. 4K I don’t need think is going to take off until like 2030 lol. Idk just imo please tell me what you think

So after my recent post, I got actually flamed. I will admit I got kinda mad but in all I got a lot of good feedback. Here is my  new build with all the revisions done

Someone told me I needed fans for my case. I completely forgot about that. What case fans would go well with my case? If there is anything else I need for my build please tell me. I am a noob.

Also if you roast me I want some good positive feedback on how to make it better (best would be if you made a new part list and described why you chose that)

Help a noob out. You all were noobs once

Same stuff as last time

So I am using the Sennheiser HD 598 because it has good VVS so I can hear footsteps in games.  I am paring that with the Fii0 E10K

My mic is a dynamic mic with a microphone mount on top. I need a good mic to only get my voice because I am gaming next to a TV that is always on. I am paring that with the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2

I honestly don't care about RGB and such. If it had it, it would be a bonus. I mean I am just setting my RGB to white because I think it is classy. Change whatever you would do and what you think is best for me plz

thank you for taking time out of your day to help me.

Buying windows at that price simply isn't worth it.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
