I don't feel like M.2 NVMe SSDs are worth their money right now for the average consumer.

 

I would invest that money into high capacity SSDs because of their long lifespan, good performance and quiet operation.

 

If you need a lot of storage for a cheap price tho - go for good old mechanical harddrives.

hahah, yeah ssd's and m.2 ssds are way better than Hard drives

If you can afford a couple of normal 2,5 sata SSDs go with that

Depends what you need to store.

I go all SSD in system, but I have a 2TB external drive for mass storage.

I would go for standard SSD's. Look into an 850 EVO in at least 250GB or 500GB and then go for whatever cheap large capacity ssd's you can find, like 1TB Mushkin SSD's for $265
