Replace the motherboard on the Intel one for a Z270 model and it will definitely be better.  You want 3200MHz RAM (compatible with your motherboard, check the QVL) for Ryzen.  You'd be fine if you dropped to 8GB.

In this case I would go for Ryzen, Kaby lake only makes sense for pure gaming (or other programs that like single core performance). Kaby lake beats Ryzen in FPS. So it depends if you want more multitasking per dollar, or more pure gaming performance. I would go with a better PSU in case you buy the kaby lake build.

You get a lot more for for the 1600 than you do the 7600K (also as others have mentioned you cant OC on that motherboard)

Also dont use green label Corsair PSU's. Get something like this instead https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/nB3RsY/seasonic-power-supply-s12ii620bronze

Go with the Ryzen one.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

There's a better Ryzen build. For your purposes 2 sticks of 4 gig are better which gives you access to a much better 1060. Technically a pound over because I threw in a better thermal compound that was about 4 pounds. You might want to wait till after Vega just in case the video card market drops any since you've got about 340 pounds available for a graphics card in that build.

Ryzen 1600 and above are better than all Intel processors except 7700K overclocked near 5 GHz.
