Hey, Linus

I am a new subscriber to your channel on youtube including "LinusTechTips" and "TechQuickie" i enjoyed your content so much. I would have some comments on that "whole room water cooling" given, that i am Molecular Biologist going into Bioinformatics. :)

So my idea for this christmas is to present my fiance a Shit stack (Schiit Stack) :D The name is fabulous.

Recently i bought her ATH-M20x (Audio-Technika) headphones and she found her music all over again. Given she was going through some rough paches in her life recently i was very happy to give her a gift of music. My idea is to amplify her experience of her favourite music with one, and only - Schiit Stack.

Here are the links:

http://www.amazon.com/Schiit-SCH-0702-Magni-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B00SCBKPW2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449786551&sr=8-1&keywords=schiit+stack

(We are located in Europe, still hoping to get picked)

Best Regards,

Matas

well I have chosen an oled Dell Monitor with a resolution of 1920x1200,its really great for work, youtube and sometime gaming!

http://www.amazon.com/Dell-U2415-24-Inch-1920-Monitor/dp/B00NZTKOQI/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449787304&sr=1-1&keywords=Monitors&refinements=p_36%3A-30000%2Cp_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A6570748011

This monitor is ment for my dad becuase of a mistake we made when we bought him an intel nuc, when we bought the NUC(core i5 6260U,8GB Ram),we came back home trying it out on our LG Flatron L1960TR monitor 1280x1024 monitor(which is great btw),and we noticed a bit of a hicup on the monitor, the monitor wont even turn on!,I went tried it on my pc:nada, didnt work...we realised that the monitor has died becuase my sister accidently spilled water on it.

so thats basicliy it,a broken monitor and a new one would be god damn amazing.

My parents have tons of old family movies and videos that they like to show their friends, visitors, and send to family, but they have no good way of accessing them. At the moment, they have to dig through a box of numbered flashdrives and figure out which one is from the period they are looking for. I would like to get my mom and dad a WD 4tb My Cloud NAS, so they will be able to find their pictures and movies, and not have to worry about ruining their flash storage. http://www.amazon.com/Mirror-Personal-Network-Attached-Storage/dp/B00ITI05CS/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449787685&sr=1-5&keywords=western+digital+network

My dad is hard of hearing, and even with his closed back headphones and the volume all the way up on his computer, he still can barely hear a thing. He is a habitual netflix watcher, and without an amp such as the asgaurd 2, he can't watch some of his favorite shows without difficulty.

Schiit asgaurd 2:

I would give my mom the amazon echo. It really is useful as it can turn on lights, and can finally play music (my mom bought 2 soundars just for playing music in her room. LOL) its a little over-priced but still worth it for the non techies.

Hi Linus and Team!

This year I want to make my moms Christmas really special!

She is currently using an old Samsung flip phone that is starting to wear out. It's so bad that sometimes she will borrow my dads, or my phone to call or text someone. She also always has to carry around her iPad with her to take pictures. I am wanting to get her a Moto G 3rd Gen for Christmas this year. It's a smartphone, it has a good enough camera for her, she can read on it, and it has Facebook. Lol Plus it is running close to stock android; So it's easy for her to learn and use. This phone would be perfect for her.

Thanks!

Alex (iComputerGeek101)

I would love to give my father an asus zenpad. he loves reading and music, a tablet would be like a combination of an ereader and an mp3 device. he just got the hang of smartphones with a blackberry z10, and I've been trying to feed his curiosity with tablets (and android...).

AMAZON LINK

I think the link directs you to the 4GB RAM-64GB storage... but the 2GB-32GB would be great too.

Thank you for this giveaway, you guys are awesome!

1. Sennheiser HD 598 SE (Blacks) Link: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-598-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B0126HISOO/ref=pd_sim_23_66?ie=UTF8&dpID=41bMMAXlJZL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR130%2C160_&refRID=180WSD4T278V6SQXZCS8

2. Grandma   3. Around 2 months ago I purchased the August EP650's
in the Silver version. I purchased these all by myself
with money I collected from opinionoutpost.com. Knowing
that I loved them and had them on my head 3 hours a
day my Grandma asked to year them. I put on some
classical music (that's what she likes) and she loved it.
She usually uses just the speaker that is inside of
her phone and so this is just way different.

My mom started working so I had to walk for a week
from school to home. My grandma without any
hesitation started driving me with nothing in
return. I have respect her a lot and she treats me like
a human, not like a child. I love her a lot and
I think she would really love these. I'm also
going to buy a cheap $20 amp to pair with
these so they're usable with her phone
(LG G2) smoothly.

I have a picture of me, my grandma, and my sister a while back.

Bye and thanks for reading :)

The ASUS ZenPhone 2 64GB is the best option for my father right now. He's always wanted a smartphone, but he insists that we don't get him one because they're too pricey for him. At least now he won't be able to complain if he wins!  :P
