Not cool dude. People give up their time to help. Don't be ungrateful. Anyway it should be under oc settings. There should just be an option to enable it

There should be this option in the OC section: Extreme Memory Profile, this is X.M.P.

Just enable it.

Without a Z-board your no doubt limited to 1600Mhz with that chipset.

I've had my 2400Mhz memory limited to 1600mhz (By Enabling XMP for all those who say "just do that") and it says it applies, reboot and back to 1600mhz it is.

This was on both the Asrock H97 and also the H97 Anniversary ed,..Bought this Z97-K and its back to normal.

It is forced everytime (unless boards specifically disable that now)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Try to overclock manually, OC Genie isn't perfect.

I just hope its not like my situation..

You select it, and the right speeds (2400Mhz in my case)

It looks like its gunna be fine, Save/Reboot..

1600Mhz

:(

Chipset limitation?

As when I went to a Z-board it all was fine (Same locked i5 CPU)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Why ?

i actually forgot completely, now that you typed that your ram is hyperx fury. Hyperx fury doesn't have xmp.

Above, you can see that the XMP profile option is grayed out since the PnP memory doesn't have XMP profiles.

I don't really mind that people tag me to ask stuff.

And if you got your answer already (seems like you did), then please mark your thread as Answered :)

Check it in CPU-Z, as I didn't have to enable mine manually for it to be at 1600MHz.

P.S. It will show up as your speed / 2, so if it says 800MHz, it'll be at 1600MHz. This is due to DDR (dual data rate).
