What is your favorite CS:GO team?

LDLC plays good, but the mentality sucks.. Frenchies.... I am French so, I know what I am talking about here and mainly with the latest change and backstab going on recently in the french arena.

 

     I am not sure I believe any "backstabbing" really occurred. Just from what I observe it seems unlikely NBK would have tried to get Titan to kick Ex6 (just because of the fact ex6 was IGL and they at the time did not know who would replace him) and to get them to kick ScreaM(I would imagine they would try to talk him out of his stupid 1 tap policy before kicking him). Overall that sounds childish and definitely not in NBK's best interest to do that. It would be much more likely that Shox, NBK, and Smithzz decided to play together again and then looked toward the other French teams for people to join. ScreaM probably was pondering retirement after his performance in ESL and it truly looked like he was going to retire after that anyway. Kio I know has become pretty good friends with Shox so I imagine he just followed him once he left Epsilon and Happy probably wanted to join after KQLY, Maniac, and Apex left LDLC. Plus the fact LDLC org released a statement how they were disappointed in the behavior of the players who left I think shows that chronologically Titan and Epsilon split up before LDLC did so that is more evidence the players are telling the truth.

 

     Unless there is some info I am missing it looks like things went exactly how the players said it did. I feel like the community just likes to add drama to stuff like this.

Yeah probably. I just know that the three guys from LDLC left without really giving notice or like the deep streets of Paris style you know, instead of like gentlemen.

 

My point, is that, they succeed, they stay together. They see some errors, bad skills or bad bli or bla, and HOP, let's change the roster. For me, it just show that you are already not a team enought to support your teamate when they need. It becomes the team for he money instead of the team for the play.

 

Nip at least, haven't change the roster. People complain, but still, they play great and won lately a lot of competitions.

 

And personally, I would hate to be in a team that leave you at first sign of bad play. For my own mental sanity you know.

I always liked VeryGames/Titan, even after they hit their infamous losing streaks, but the spot for my favorite team right now is definitely between Fnatic and LDLC (new and old).

You're right. There wasn't any backstabbing. People like to conjure up drama.

 

NBK stated on his twitter that 4 years of being with the former VG/Titan lineup, why would he even think of backstabbing them. Ex6tenz mentioned that originally the roster change was initiated by the ESL Cologne loss. Management, Niak (Titan's coach and manager) and Ex6tenz had the final say with the players giving in input and the removal to be ScreaM and Smithzz to bring in LDLC players Apex and Maniac. NBK however mentioned he needed time to think and when he got back to them, he stated he would like to leave the team and after Titan confirmed their replacement for NBK's departure (getting KQLY in), they made the changes.

 

About LDLC's players not at first contacting the management and signing on with Titan its partially true, there were some discrepancies but LDLC did manage to make a counter offer in which the players refused.

 

Side note, it was mentioned by Maniac or something that LDLC did offer pretty much the same thing as Titan did, but Titan had several key assets, those being Niak as their manager, Ex6tenz as the in game leader and the Team house.

 

TL;DR No drama, NBK just left the team after deliberating. ScreaM and Smithzz were due to leave anyway. The player transfer between LDLC and Titan was a little messy but LDLC did manage to produce a counter offer of equal value, but Titan had other assets that the LDLC players wanted.

I like titan just for the skills of KennyS and his awp. He's basically a human highlight reel. My favorite team would probably be Fnatic just because of the sheer skill they posses and the great ability to know where each other guy is on their team and make quick decisions at a moment's  notice.

Fnatic is my fav. I've been a fnatic fanboy since 1.6 times. So happy to see them wreck pretty much every team they face now. 16-0 against NiP was tasty. ;)

Basically if you want to bet your skins just find Fnatic matches and go all-in. You can't lose with fnatic.

Agree, fantastic IGL. His team is slowly adapting to his style which is a really strong mid round call style that gives opponent teams very little reaction time and exploits their weaknesses very strongly. Additionally like you mentioned, fnatic's strats are simple yet very calculative and effective, very interesting team to watch.

 

That being said, ex6tenz from Titan is also stepping it up, he recently has been fragging really well and when they do set strats its still amazing to watch their execution and coordination as well as the complexity that goes into it.

iBuyPower Katowice.... nothing beats it.

 

I like NiP for the idea behind the team. They're a pretty good all round team but lately they haven't been playing to their full potential. They might be saving up some skills for another league though so we must see ;)

 

Other than NiP I like Titan and HellRaisers mostly for markeloff who was my idol in 1.6 <3

Probably NiP. They may not always have the best individual performance (often they do) but their teamplay is just awesome. Fnatic after that.

     So partially due to EMS One Katowice and that other thread here on LoL teams what are your favorite CS teams? Personally I am a fan of Clan Mystik and Complexity right now. Mystik just got KennyS who just went mental in some of his recent games and I am from the US so that explains complexity :P
